Quick update (For Liz H)

A commonly held belief in Jamaica is that if something is worth doing at all, it is worth doing well.
So am I or am I not 'doing' a blog?
I dont know yet - but I will make an effort :)

Well, I am here in Kansas City - spending time at the International House of Prayer.
I had been in an amazing three month program called - The Commission.
We spent time discussing and getting teachings on topics like the Father heart of God, or Intimacy with Jesus, the song of Solomon and The End times.

But sadly, now the program is finished and I find myself feeling a little lost.
Now what? Many of the friends that I had made have left and gone back home - whether that was to another country or to another part of the USA or Canada. I realise that this three months, though amazing, had me investing energy and building long distance relationships, so I am back at square one - not really having a community here...the here that remains beyind my 3 month program.

whine, whine, whine... :D
Well, you asked how Im doing...
Other than that - I am AMAZING.
God has been good and I keep pushing to press into Him more and more daily.

The other big news is that I should be getting married in August! :D

I'd love to explore the idea that the enemy HATES christian marriages, because seriously...since we decided to get married, the heat has been turned way up in the kitchen and I can feel him breathing down my neck sometimes...
BUT - greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world.
